Suprasorb G, Hydrogel (In 2 versions) 

Ready-for- use hydrogel dressings, sterile, for promoting wound cleansing and healing in superficial, necrotic wounds, second-degree burns and superficial wounds with light discharge.  The hydrophilic layer of gel on the wound side moulds itself well to body contours and releases moisture to the wound, creating a perfect, moist environment under dry wound conditions. Necrotic tissue is dissolvedi detritus is absorbed by the gel and removed from the wound when the dressing is changed.  A fine, liquidproof  and semipermeable polyurethane film protects the wound area against the ingress of germs from the outside.  Suprasorb G amorphous gel, consisting of CMC polymer and propylene glycol; sterile, in a syringe; for application with deep, necrotic wounds with light discharge.  Dressing recommended for protecting a wound during treatment with Suprasorb G gel : Suprasorb F (Film Wound Dressing) or Suprasorb M (PU Membrane).  The cooling effect of the gel in both its varieties is perceived as pleasant and analgesic.
